Brave New World: Good or Bad?

Of course this type of society is going to be appealing to the eye. Who wouldn't want to live there when there's basically unlimited sex and anything pertaining/associated with sex. There are class issues, but there's really not any violence between them. With the desensitization of of death, no one has to be mourn or cry for many things. Everyone belongs to everyone so there are no boundaries and no one really has any secrets. So can this society be categorized as bad? In my opinion it can. A lot of things about this society kind of freak me out, but even besides the things we would call absurdities, even the pleasurable things seem to be fake and not enjoyable because everyone is like a drone. Life isn't always about pleasure. One's got to to go through some pain, suffering, arguing, and hurt in order to live passionately. No one can be happy all the time. If people were happy all the time, it would be distasteful for them to brush off death or hurting someone's feelings. etc, so nonchalantly. The morale of the society is is messed up too. Though there aren't any diseases and rarely any pregnancies, the constant pleasure can't be justified. Sex isn't some thing to just be done because someone's horny. There is no concept of relationship or love, which is really disturbing. I'm actually surprised that this society doesn't have rapes because everyone acts on sexual impulse. In my opinion I don't think this world is good, there is such a lack of emotion that nobody has any passion for anything. They're like crack-heads who are only concerned with getting laid, soma, and playing sports. There is no diversity.
